Every year the beer festival supports a local charity. Thanks to your generous donations, we raise over £25,000 for a great year. This year we’re delighted to announce we’re partnering with East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. EACH gives families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support: at home, in hospital, or at one of their three hospices.
EACH community fundraiser Helena Davis told us “We’re thrilled and honoured to have been selected as charity partner for this year’s Cambridge Beer Festival. We know what a difference it has made to other worthy causes in our county and see this as a huge deal and incredible opportunity, allowing us to raise a fantastic amount and also heighten awareness in Cambridge. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who has made this partnership possible and we look forward to seeing everyone, running our stand and taking donations.”
The hospices rely on voluntary donations to carry out their work. You can support them by gifting them your festival glass or unused tokens, or giving a donation to one of their volunteers around the festival.
