Children

Please note that the information on this page does not relate to the current festival.

Children are welcome to visit to the festival, however, they will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children are also welcome in the food and bar marquees – although please take care, especially when the site is busy.

The festival site has a dedicated separate children’s area with a marquee and range of outdoor toys, available all week.

On the Saturday, the children’s area will be the focal point of additional children’s entertainment. This often includes (subject to availability and weather):

  • Face painting
  • Painting
  • Story-telling
  • Jugglers Workshop
  • Jugglers Demonstration

Lost children

We hope you and your child do not lose each other. However, if this should happen, please do not panic. Contact any of our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) for assistance.

Please consider the following suggestions, especially for younger children:

  • Ensure your child knows they are to ask a member of stewarding team in their distinctive yellow uniform to help find you.
  • Ensure your child knows your name, so we can contact you via the tannoy.
  • For older children, make use of mobile phones.
