Children

Children are welcome to visit to the festival. There is no entrance charge for children. However, they will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (eg a 17 year old with an 18 or 19 year old friend is not sufficient).

Children are also welcome in the food and bar marquees – although please take care, especially when the site is busy.

The festival site has a dedicated separate children’s area with a marquee and range of outdoor toys, available all week.

Alcohol

As with any licensed premises, it is illegal for under 18s to buy (or attempt to buy) or consume alcohol. It’s also illegal to buy (or attempt to buy) alcohol for somebody under 18.

Lost children

We hope you and your child do not lose each other. However, if this should happen, contact any of our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) for assistance.

Please consider the following suggestions, especially for younger children:

  • Ensure your child knows they are to ask a member of stewarding team in their distinctive yellow uniform to help find you.
  • Ensure your child knows your name, so we can contact you via the tannoy.
  • For older children, make use of mobile phones.
