Cambridge Beer Festival 2024 Wine List

This list is a hopefully accurate record of the wines that were served at the festival.

  • Coopers Croft Suffolk Bacchus 11.0% Wine GB East Best Bacchus 2022, fresh, zippy and loaded with citrus.
  • Rosé 11.0% A crisp pink wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Subtle aromas of violet, and flavours of cranberry and rhubarb along with passion fruit, were brought out by the hot dry summer of 2022. The wine is light-bodied, and dry to taste with a creamy, delicate palate. Silver medal winner.
  • Traditional Method Blanc de Noirs 11.5% 100% pinot noir grapes give a delicate coral-pink colour with brioche notes and flavours of crisp red apple.
  • Dedham Vale Boxted, Colchester, Essex Colchester Oyster 10.5% Lovely dry white wine with the aroma of melon and grapefruit with hints of kumquat and citrus.
  • Giffords Hall Suffolk Bacchus 11.0% Bacchus is becoming known as the UK's answer to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The Giffords house style is dryer than most, but as it is so fruit driven it tends to be mistaken for a medium dry.
