Public Transport to the Beer Festival
The Univsity Social Club (Google Map) area is well serviced by public transport. There are several 'Citi' bus services, which can operate up to once every 10 minuets, as well as district services, from Ely, Newmarket and Soham.
Cambridge has good train services from London, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough, Midlands and the North of England.

Real Time Bus Information
Cambridgeshire Country Council has started the roll out of a Real Time Passenger Information service. The majority of bus services in Cambridge now provide Real Time arrival information. A significant number of stops now have real time bus arrival information displays. However, live bus information is available for the majority of stops in Cambridge and is now available either directly to your mobile via the internet .
To receive timetable information by text to your mobile, Text the 8 letter bus stop code to 85007 (texts cost 25p plus normal text message charge). Should you require timetable information for a specific service, simply add the service number to the end of the bus stop code, for example CMBDADAP 7. Bus timetable information for the next scheduled departures from that stop will be sent to you within a few seconds.
The 8 letter bus stop code is shown next to each of the stops listed below, which is also the link to the Real Time Passenger Information via the internet. The displayed information is shown either in real time in minutes, for example 6 mins; or timetable format in 24 hr clock, for example 11:06.

Citi7 stop at the railway station and got to Saint Andrews Street Bus Stops, the nearest bus stops to the University Social Club.
When exiting the railway station, goto the bus stops on your RIGHT.
If you are unsure of where to alight the bus, ask the driver to tell you when you get to the "City Centre" stop.
