The Cambridge Beer Festival needs you!
The Cambridge Beer Festival is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who come from all walks of life and give up their valuable time to make the beer festival a success. Basically, without our volunteers the beer festival would not go on. We need over 400 volunteers to help make the festival happen. It’s not just bar work that we need volunteers for. As well as needing volunteers for the week the festival is open, we also need volunteers who can come along and help us to set everything up the week before the festival. Once the festival has closed we need help taking everything down.
We need people to help us set up fencing, electrics, plumbing, stands, bars, marquees and toilets. When we are open we need people to work on the front entrance, glasses, the bars, the cheese counter, litter pickers, and many more jobs. Finally, having put it all together and sold all the beer, cider, wine, cheese and Pork Pies, we need to pack it away again, were once again we need your help to return Jesus Green to its pristine state.
We are always in need of volunteers, even if you can only do one shift or even just a few hours to cover meal breaks, it would help us tremendously. There are so many jobs that need doing.
We'd like to thank all the volunteers who have helped us in past, you are amazing!! Now come on and volunteer again, we'd love to see you.
The benefits of working include free beer, free food , a staff T-shirt and the chance to meet old friends and make new ones who all have at least one thing in common, a love of real ale, cider, foreign beers, mead and yes ... cheese.
Your first time : Thank you for joining us, please complete the Staffing form. You may not hear back from us immediately, but rest assured we do want you to come.
If you have volunteered in previous years : Welcome back, we would still like you to complete the Staffing form - even if you are a regular.
