The Cambridge Winter Ale Festival needs you!

The Cambridge Winter Ale Festival is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who come from all walks of life and give up their valuable time to make the beer festival a success. Basically, without our volunteers the beer festival would not go on.

We need people to help us to prepare the USC for the festival. When we are open we need people to work on the front entrance, glasses and the bars. Finally, having put it all together and sold all the beer and cider, we need to pack it away again, were once again we need your help to return the USC to its pristine state.

In a change to previous festivals, the set-up for the festival will be done on the Sunday before the festival opens and so we will not be requiring a large team of volunteers during the week before the festival opens. As this is a weekend, we hope more people will be able to volunteer, without taking time off work.

We are always in need of volunteers, even if you can only do one shift or even just a few hours to cover meal breaks, it would help us tremendously.

We'd like to thank all the volunteers who have helped us in the past, you are amazing!! Now come on and volunteer again, we'd love to see you.

The benefits of working include free beer, free food and the chance to meet old friends and make new ones who all have at least one thing in common, a love of real ale, foreign beers and cider.
