The Cambridge Beer Festival needs you!

The Cambridge Beer Festival is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who come from all walks of life and give up their valuable time to make the beer festival a success. Basically, without our volunteers the beer festival would not go on. We have over 400 volunteers who work over the entire festival and it’s not just bar work that we need volunteers for. As well as needing volunteers for the week the festival is open, we also need volunteers who can come along and help us to set everything up the week before the festival and once the festival has closed we need help taking everything down. If you feel you would like to help us in anyway, please complete the staffing volunteer form.

We are always in need of volunteers, even if you can only do one shift, it would help us tremendously. There are so many jobs that need doing on site.
We need people to help us set up site, fencing, electrical, plumbing, setting up stands, setting up the bars, marquees, toilets.
When we are open we need people to work on the front entrance, glasses, the bars, the cheese counter, litter pickers, and many many more jobs.
Finally, having put it all together and sold all the beer, cider, wine, cheese and Pork Pies, we need to pack it away again, were once again we need your help to return Jesus Green to its' pristine state.

Benefits of working are discounted beer, free food, a staff t-shirt and the chance to meet old friends and make new ones who all have at least one thing in common, a love of real ale or cider or cheese.

Volunteer update: we desperately need volunteers to come in every morning and help with getting the site ready for opening, especially, litter pickers and help move stock around. If you are interested, please complete the staffing volunteer form or come along to the festival site during set up week from Monday 17th May to talk to us about volunteering.

You must be over the age of 18 years to work at the festival. Proof of age will be required!!
For your own safety - Please wear stout footwear whilst we're open. Please no sandals or other open toe footwear. If you have Steel Toe Capped footwear, please wear them during setup and take down.
