36CBF Full Logo

Thank you to everyone who attended the Cambridge & District CAMRA 36th Cambridge Beer Festival this year.

We are very proud of our festival, our volunteers put a lot of time and effort into making it the best in the country. Thanks to you, our loyal visitors, we've had another successful year with over 32,500 people attending, making this festival the 2nd largest beer festival outside of London.  We sold over 90,000 pints and over a metric ton of cheese!!!

LocAle Logo

This year the emphasis was on East Anglian breweries, firstly, to promote local beer and secondly, to reduce our carbon footprint.  The Cambridge and District Branch of CAMRA launched its LocAle campaign to support our local breweries by trying the beers with the LocAle logo.  It was extremely successful and the local breweries involved have had a number of enquires already so please remember to ask your local pub about locally brewed beers!!

We will be announcing the Beer of the Festival very soon so keep an eye on this site.

Once more, we would like to thank our volunteers who did a tremendous job in getting the festival open and looking after our visitors during the week.  Without our volunteers we would not be able to do what we do!
